About these terms
These terms govern your use of this website and the requests you make through it (orders, wholesale, catering, partnerships and the concierge chat). By using the site you agree to them. They're governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and any dispute falls to the competent courts of Alexandria.
Orders & availability
Prices are shown in Egyptian Pounds and may change as our ingredients and seasons do. Some items — like our Mandolato and limited Greek delicacies — are made in small batches and can sell out. Everything you submit online is a request; an order is confirmed only when we accept it (by phone or email). We'll always be clear before you commit.
Wholesale orders
Wholesale carries a 10-unit minimum across the order. The total shown in the builder is an indicative retail figure — your actual wholesale rate, lead time and delivery are confirmed when we call you back. No payment is taken on the website.
Catering & events
Catering requests (100 guests and up) are quoted individually. A proposal becomes a booking only once we've confirmed the details and any deposit in writing. We'll be clear about timelines, staffing, menu and what's included.
Hotel partnerships
Submitting a proposal to open a Délices — whether fully-managed, license-and-consulting, or undecided — is an expression of interest, not a binding agreement. Any partnership is governed by a separate written contract reached directly with the owners.
Délices Concierge
Our concierge is an AI assistant provided to help and inform. It can occasionally be wrong, and nothing it says is a binding quote or commitment — prices, availability and bookings are only confirmed by a member of our team. Please don't rely on it for anything time-critical without confirming with us.
Delivery
Cooked food delivery is fulfilled through Talabat and MRSOOL under their service terms. Coffee, jams, sauces and cakes arranged through this site are delivered under ours, on terms confirmed with your order.
Intellectual property
The Délices name, logo, recipes, photography and the content of this site are ours and may not be copied or used without our written permission. Bringing the Délices brand to your venue is only possible through a formal partnership (see 'Hotel partnerships').
Liability
We take great care, but to the extent permitted by Egyptian law we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the website. Nothing here limits any right you have under mandatory consumer-protection law (including Egypt's Consumer Protection Law).
Allergens
Our products may contain or be made alongside nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs and other allergens. If you or your guests have allergies, please tell us before ordering and we'll advise honestly.
